Answer:
Osmosis is Solvent molecules tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated one in this process.

While diffusion is a net flow of matter from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration occurs as a result of random motion of molecules.

These two are different as diffusion doesn’t require a semipermeable membrane but osmosis does require it.
