Why do civil wars usually erupt following revolution?

because as we know

civil war is a a war between two groups of people from the same country starting a war (such as the civil war between North and South United States)


and revolution is overthrowing the government for a new order

if the government or social order cannot restrain the two or if they choose sides, they will be overthrown
