As a result of the Industrial Revolution, this allowed for more countries that became industrialized to rely less on slave labor which led to society as a whole shifting to a more abolitionist stance and overall more slaves beeing freed rather than traded. Furthermore, the Industrial Revolution also had more economical effects of being able to increase the production of many goods and items at a rapid rate which allowed for more exports and therefore a boost in the economy.
