ANSWER: Chisholm Trail

Around 1866, the first cattle drives from Texas on the renowned Chisholm Trail left DeWitt County and across Central Texas on their way to Kansas' markets and railheads.
Jesse Chisholm, an Indian trader, created a cattle trail between the North Canadian and Arkansas rivers in 1865, and the trail was named for him.
