Answer:

x=4,y=2

Explanation:

3x-2y=8 ..........1

2x+y=10...........2

multiply equation 2 by 2 and adding equation 1 and 2 ,we get

3x-2y=8

4x+2y=20

7x=28

x=28/7=4

:.x=4

again substituting value of x in equation 1 we get

3×4-2y=8

12-8=2y

y=4/2=2

:.y=2
