A jug has a capacity 3 times that of a glass.
The total capacity of the glass, pail and jug is 24 liters.

smallest is 3L

biggest is 12L

Pail=4 glasses

Jug=3 glasses

Glass=1 glass

4+3+1=8glasses

24L÷8glasses= 3L in each glass

pail=12L (4×3)

jug=9L (3x3)
