British Imperialism in Africa: Causes and Consequences The need for raw materials, the search for new economic markets, and Europe's population expansion
Land and religious missions are hotly contested among European states. New items and resources became available to international markets as a result of Imperialism's positive consequences in Africa. Improved transportation/roads, as well as sanitation. More jobs are created by hospitals, schools, and manufacturing. Life expectancy increased as people became healthier. As a result of the increased number of schools, the literacy rate increased, and political stability was achieved. Land loss and independence from European rule were the negative consequences.
Many people died as a result of the battle and resistance. Diseases were brought by the Europeans. Food shortages resulted from the utilization of the land for cash crops. Local cultures were devastated, and customs were lost. There was a lot of taxation. Because there are no jobs, the males are forced to leave their villages.

I hope this helps you :)
