To prove : ΔDEC ~ ΔDAB

angle DEC = angle DAB...... ( Corresponding angles when Line EC || Line AB and EC being the transversal)

angle EDC = angle ADB......( Common angle D)

therefore, ΔDEC ~ ΔDAB by A - A test of similarity.
