I agree that the stock market had an impact however, the banks didn’t have rules on who to lend money to. Therefore they were lending money to many people and couldn’t pay back when asked for and because the stock market crash everyone wanted there money back and the back had already lend money to so many people that they weren’t able to give money back there for the banks played a big role leading to war.
