Explanation:

Area of the triangle = 1/2 * base * height

Base = 10cm

Height is gotten using the pythagoras theorem

h² = 10² - 5²

h² = 100 - 25

h² = 75

h = √75

h = 5√3

Get the area

Area = 1/2 * 10 * 5√3

Area = 25√3cm²

hence the area of the tringle is 25√3cm²
