Eduardo flips a coin three times and gets tails only once, so his fraction of tails so far is 1/3 . Eduardo says, “Next time I flip my coin, I am much more likely to get tails because that would make my new fraction of tails 2/4 which is equal to the probability of getting tails.”

Evaluate Eduardo’s statement, and explain your reasoning.

Answer:

He is wrong

Explanation:

If he flipped heads 2/3 of the time he flipped he is more likely to get heads again because 2/3 is greater than 1/3.
