HELP HELP HELP I will give all my points

The formula for the area of the square is A = length x width. If the area of the square is 8/12 feet squared and the width is 2 2/3 square feet, what is the length?

PLEASE HELP I NEED TO GET THIS DONE T_T

Answer:

1/4 of a foot.

Explanation:

This can't be a square because all sides of a square are equal. This is a rectangle.

Length = area / width.

= (8/12) / (8/3) (because 2 2/3 = 8/3)

= 1/4 feet.

This is really the width as by definition length is greater than width.
