a. The probability is 1/100 since there are 10 possible digits (0-9) and you need the last two digits so
(1)/(10)*(1)/(10)=(1)/(100).

This is 1%.

b. Let's start by calculating the probability of getting the right digits knowing that they are both even.

We have a total of 5 even digits (0, 2, 4, 6, 8). You need the last two so
(1)/(5)*(1)/(5) =(1)/(25)=(4)/(100) which is 4%.

Therefore the answer is a) It increases the probability that your choice is correct to 1/25, or 4%, because each digit could be 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8.

The answer to question A is 1/100 and 1%. For question B I think the answer is C but I’m not 100% sure on that unfortunately.
