2 2/3 - 1 3/4 = 11/12

Explanation:

You could convert them both to improper fractions then you would make them have common denominators so the least common denominator for the would be 12 so you would multiply them and then you would subtract them to get your answer of 11/12.

2 2/3 = 8/3 times 4 = 32/12

1 3/4 = 7/4 times 3 = 21/12

32/12 - 21/12 = 11/12
