School libraries are important because, they provide more than just books. But they also have computers and other technologies that student's use to aide their studies, databases of accurate information, plus fun and educational activities. School libraries provide a safe haven for all students to think, create, share, and grow right in their school.
Ways to keep the school library open, could be to have clubs in the library, such as a book club to add some fun components to the library. Also, by having small activities held in the library to encorage students to use the library more often.
