The Seminole war was fought between the United States and the Seminoles in an attempt to get the Seminoles to leave Florida for good. This was the longest war in the Indian Removal attempt, lasting over 6 years. Although no peace treaty was signed, over 4,000 Seminoles were transported to Indian land. Technically the United States won, but there was still untouched conflict leading to a third war.
