Create equations w = l - 6, A = 27, so A = l (l-6) so 27 =
l^(2) - 6l

so
l^(2) - 6l - 27 = 0, by factoring (l-9)(l-3) = 0 so l = 9 or l = 3 since the width can't be negative then l has to be 9 so that w = 9-6 = 3, so width = 3 and l = 9
