How are men and women usually portrayed in literature? Where have you seen this in novels or plays that you have read thus far?

Answer: Men are usually portrayed as the protector, strong and agressive

people in literature, while women are more of the fragile, calm, housewife, and proper types of people in literature.

Explanation: I have seen this in The Secret Garden, when they go on judging Mary Lennox, the main character, for not being proper or pretty.
