There are 233 skiers in line to ride the chair lift. If each chair seats 5 people, how many skiers will be on the last chair?

Answer:

At first we will divide 233 with 5

233/5= 46.6

So,

there will be 46.6 chairlifts occupied

After that we will subtract 233 from 46

233-46=186/5=37

So,

there will be 37 skiers on the last chair lift
