24.5 x 30/100 = 7.35$ is the 30% off
Tax on new price
( 24.5-7.35) x 7/100= 1.2$ tax
Total price > 24.5- 7.35+ 1.2= 18.35$
^^^ explanation
You take your original price and subtract the 30% then add on your 7% tax
