AT the root of almost every protest is a black woman. During the suffrage movement, because of their skin color, they didn't have the privilege of worrying about misogyny, they were more worried about being hung and killed for the color of their skin. I know this is a serious question, but I can't explain it without thinking of a great comedian, her name is Hoodo Hersi. She had a bit on why she's not considering herself a feminist, and the reason she gave is she already has so much on her plate for being both black and muslim, she's too tired and done to worry about being a woman.
