A school plans to build a swimming pool that has an area of 96 square meters. The school wants the pool to be more than 9 meters long. They also want the pool to be able to have at least four 2 meter wide lanes. If all the sides of the pool are whole meter lengths, what are the dimensions of the pool?

Answer:

If the pool has to have the length to be greater than 9 and the width to at least be 8 meters wide then it has to have dimensions of 12x8.

Hope this helps!
