Used the slope formula to figure out the slope which is y2-y1 over x2-x1

(-1,2)

(-4, 3)

3-2 over -4-(-1)

3-2= 1

1 is the top/numerator

-4-(-1) or you can rewrite is as -4+(-1) because a subtraction sign with a negative sign turns into addition/into a plus sign.

-4+(-1)=-3

-3 is the bottom/denominator

So your slope is 1/-3.
