So first of all you need to take the sum of all variables to know your denominator there are 22 students in total there are 9 males who doesnt have an A in class so to find the probability you need the ratio of males (who doesnt have an A) to the number of students.
9/22 will be your answer
theres not much to explain this is the formula of probablity
Always remember to use (Number of favorable outcomes) ÷ (Sample space).
