about the colonists' advantages and disadvantes in fighting against the

Some advantages the colonists had during the Revolutionary war is that they knew the land better, had better leadership, allies such as the french and the motivation/will to continue the fight. Disadvantages they had was they were not huge on size along with not having experience in warfare compared to the British. Combined with the fact some men would desert the army and not face punishment.
