Answer:

Factories during the industrial revolution were the standard for safety and productivity. Labor laws prohibited children from working in factories and women were not allowed to work in factories because that was a man's job. The production floor was clean, bright, and most importantly safe. The factories of the industrial revolution really put our modern day factories to shame. With the introduction of more regulations, children and women have to work to support their families and safety has really declined since this time period.
