The Sabbath, the sabbath is Judaism's day of rest on the seventh day of the week. A day of religious practice, kept by Jewish people from Friday evening to Saturday evening, and by most Christians on Sunday.
(basically, it commemorates the original seventh day on which God rested after completing the creation.)
