Let the price of a scone be s and the price of a coffee be c.

7s+2c=22.40 \implies 21s+6c=67.20 \\\\4s+3c=16.18 \implies 8s+6c=32.36\\\\\therefore 13s=34.84 \implies s=2.68\\\\\therefore c=1.82

So, a scone costs $2.68 and a coffee costs $1.82.
