Since Milo earns the same amount ($14) no matter what day, the amount he makes is only dependent on the number of hours worked.
5 hours Monday =5x
4 hours Tuesday =4x
Total hours worked =9
X=$14
So…
5x+4x= total amount earned or 9x
5(14)+4(14)=$126
