-5x+9y=-18

Dividing both sides by -18

-5x/-18+9y/-18=-18/-18

5x/18-y/2=1

x/(18/5)-y/2=1. eqn(i)

eqn (i) is comparing with x/a+y/b=1, we get

x - intercept (a) =18/5

y-intercept (b) = -2
