Step-by-step explanation

X is the milk in the bowl before it was used

x-2.15=1.30

Move the -2.15 to the right side of the equation. When you move it to the opposite side the sign changes.

x=1.30+2.15

Now just add 1.30 and 2.15

x=3.45
