Answer:

2 cm and 6 cm

Explanation:

x = first leg

y = second leg


y = 4 + x

xy/2 = 6


y = 4 + x

xy = 12


x(4+x) = 12

x²+4x - 12 = 0

(x+6)(x-2) = 0

x = -6 (impossible because a length can’t be negative)

x = 2 cm


y = 2 + 4 = 6 cm
