we use the formula ...

h = \sqrt{ {d}^(2) - {l}^(2) - {w}^(2) }

and then keep the value respectively....

in the given question,

l=8cm

w=6cm

d=11cm

so,

h = \sqrt{ {11}^(2) - {8}^(2) - {6}^(2) }

or. \: h = √(121 - 64 - 36)

by solving we get ...

height = 4.58 cm

Answer:

√21 cm

Explanation:

diagonal of the base =
√(8^2 + 6^2) = √(64 + 36) = √(100) = 10 cm

height =
√(11^2-10^2) = √(121-100) = √(21) cm
