Karen, Sam, and Justin have a total of $105 in their wallets. Karen has $5 less than Sam, Justin has 2 times what Karen has. How much do they have in their

wallets?

j=100

s= -45

k+s+j=105....................equaton 1

k=5-s...s=5-k................eq2

j=2k ...............................eq3

so we will substitute eq.2 and 3 to eq 1

k+(5-k)+(2k)=105

5+2k=105

2k=100

k=50

j=100

s= -45
