Polonius's death happens, and hamlet is sent away. Ophelia (The girl he was in love with until the climax happened, lol) goes raving mad and drowns herself because her father is dead, and hamlet is gone. Her brother, who has gone to France, returns to find she's dead and decides to avenge her father. Hamlet soon returns and has lost his need for revenge.
