HELPP what’s the best paints to use when painting a portrait of a horse!!

Hello, you can try using oils, but they can be pretty expensive and take longer than acrylic paint to dry. They do though have a shine to them if you are looking to accentuate the highlights and shadows in your painting.

For budget friendly, you can use acrylics. I usually buy the materials from the Blick website as they sometimes offer great deals on supplies.

Answer: I would say watercolor because it could look pretty and blend the colors nicely
