There are 163 tudent going on a field trip to pan for gold. If they are going in van that hold 9 tudent each, how many van are needed? How many tudent will ride in the van that in't full?

We divide 163 by 9 to find the number of vans which brings us to 18.11 but we can’t bring 18.11 vans so we bring 19 vans but the 19th one won’t be full because 18*9=162 students are in other 18 ones and only one student is in the 19th one
