m = (Y2 - Y1) / (X2 - X1) Slope formula

m = (1 - 0) / (2 - 0) Plug in any two points, I chose (2,1) & (0,0)

m = 1 / 2

P.S. You could also count rise/run

Basically count the amount of units going up or down then counts the units going left or right that get you to the next point of the line
