The length of a rectangle is 7 cm more than the width. If the perimeter is 58 cm, find the length and width.​

Answer:

length = 32.5, Width = 25.5

Explanation:

Let x rep the width. Let x plus 7 rep the length.

x + x + 7 = 58

2x=58-7

2x=51

2x/2 = 51/2

x= 25.5

x plus 7 =

= 25.5 + 7

=32.5
