Basically they are asking the wrong question and you have to correct it. For example for number one they say, are you taking a shower? And on the side it says “make up” so you would say “ no me estoy maquillando.
The second one they ask are they Washing themselves? and you’ll say “no, Se están cepillando los dientes.” Meaning no they’re brushing their teeth.
