The answer would be x > -24, or option A.

To solve the inequality, we would multiply -6 by 4 and get rid of the 4:

x/4 < -6

= x < -24

Since we multiplied, we now switch the sign from less than (<) to greater than (>).

x > -24

On a graph, an open dot would be plotted at -24 and the line would be going to the right to resemble the “greater than” portion of the inequality.
