We have the next equation


(11)/(15)=w-(8)/(15)

And we must solve it for w

1. we must add 8/15 to both sides (since we have the same denominator we add up the numerators and the denominator is the same)


\begin{gathered} (11)/(15)+(8)/(15)=w-(8)/(15)+(8)/(15) \\ (19)/(15)=w \end{gathered}

2. we should swap sides


w=(19)/(15)
