Why do you think we used the root tips of the onion bullet instead of the onion epdermig to viewcell division for this investigation?

As we know root grows, in the tip of each root, we can find an active zone of cell division known as meristem, therefore the likelihood to find different stages of cell division are much higher in this zone than in the epidermis, where cells are not dividing so actively.
