Foraminifera is considered as an animal-like protista. It is a very simple micro-organism that are amoeba-like. They are amoeboid protists that are unicellular eukaryotes that inhabits the sediments of the aquatic environment. They catch their food using their pseudopodia in order to obtain green algae, brown algae, diatoms, and bacteria. It does undergo photosynthesis but their way of life makes them more animal-like.
