Given,

The probability of owing the sketch board and bicycle is 0.44.

The probability of owing the sketch board is 0.49.

The probability of owing the bicycle is 0.58.

The expression for the probability of owing the sketch board or bicycle is,

P(\text{sketch board }\cup\text{bicycle)}=P(\text{sketch board )}+P(\text{bicycle)}-P(\text{sketch board }\cap\text{bicycle)}

Substituting the value then,

\begin{gathered} P(\text{sketch board }\cup\text{bicycle)}=0.49+0.58-0.44 \\ P(\text{sketch board }\cup\text{bicycle)}=0.63 \end{gathered}

Hence, the probability of owing the sketch board or bicycle is 0.63.
