To find the rise between both points, identify the vertical distance over the Y-axis between them.

Similarly, the run can be found by identifying the horizontal distance over the X-axis.

As shown in the image, the rise between both points is -5 and the run between both points is +5.

The slope of a line is the quotient between its rise and its run:


\text{slope}=\frac{\text{ rise}}{\text{ run}}=(-5)/(5)=-1

Then, the slope of this line is -1.

Therefore, the answers are:

Rise: -5

Run: 5

Slope: -1
