You have the following expression:

(1)/(4)(3\cdot7)

You need to evaluate. First multiply the numbers inside the parentheses and then multiply the result with the fraction.

Then, you get this product:

(1)/(4)(3\cdot7)=(1)/(4)(21)=(21)/(4)

Now divide the numerator by the denominator to get the number in decimal form:

=5.25

Evaluate the second expression by solving the multiplication. You get that its product is:

(3\cdot7)=21

As you can notice, 21 is greater than 5.25 , therefore:

\begin{gathered} (3\cdot7)>(1)/(4)(3\cdot7) \\ 21>5.25 \end{gathered}
