We're going to solve the equation:


-6(u+1)=2(1-3u)-8

As follows:


\begin{gathered} -6u-6=2-6u-8 \\ -6u+6u=2-8+6 \\ 0u=0 \\ 0=0 \end{gathered}

As you can see, the inequality is satisfied for any value of u. Thus, the solutions are all real numbers.
