This is the system.

We will use the method of elimination to solve it.

So we will multiply the first equation by 3 and add it to the second one, this will gives us.


8y=4\rightarrow y=(1)/(2)
2x+(1)/(2)=-1\rightarrow2x=-(3)/(2)\rightarrow x=-(3)/(4)
