The pool is an 8 by 8 by 8 cube, so we must find the surface area. The formula for surface area is the area of one face of the cube times 6. Therefore, we only need to take the surface area of 5 of the cube's faces, the right face, the face in front of you, the face behind you, the left face, and the bottom face.

Each face is just a square, so we must find the area of the square by doing 8x8=64. Then, we must multiply that by five for each face of the pool.

64x5=320 square meters.

finally, to find the total cost, we must multiply the total surface area by the cost, 6 dollars, to find: 320x6= $1920!
